Real Easy To Follow Instructions !!! Using Windows :D

How to Burn > DVD/ISO : > http://www.ubuntu.com/download/help/bur ... on-windows How to create/install from USB : > http://www.ubuntu.com/download/help/cre ... on-windows

If you downloaded the Free/Core version, > you don't need to extract the file. Burn the DVD directly using the ISO > file itself that you recently downloaded.
If you donated for the premium version. extract the zip file using the password. > And use the extracted ISO > file to burn the DVD.

Most all ISO/DVD burning applications will tell you if your ISO is either a > ( Bootable Image ) or ( Non-Bootable ) !!!

Windows 7 has the application built in to burn a ISO to DVD. > Real Easy > Right click the Zorin OS ISO and scroll down > where it says > open with ...write/burn to disk. >>> And that it folks !!!

Yes tried that ........ 21 discs now... still just a whole bundles of Files NO ISO image

.disk ( File Folder )
casper ( File Folder )
install ( File Folder )
isolinux ( File Folder )
preseed (File Folder )
md5sum ( txt file )
README.diskdefines
ubuntu ( File )

Now no matter if i burn this with IMG BURN, Nero, Magic disc, Magic ISO, I get the same result, It will not boot from F12

the "usual" ISO icon is not visible anywhere in the above folders, why cannot this just be a EXE file?

1st Step > Say you download the ISO. When it's finished downloading. Go to downloads and you will see the Zorin OS ISO. Don't extract/unzip the file. > The whole file unzipped is the ISO itself. You burn the ISO unzipped. If you do any unzipping it won't work. ( This is to be done for the Free/Core version. )

2 For the Premium Donated Version > The downloaded ISO comes in a compressed >> ( Zip File ). > In turn you need to unzip the ( Compressed Zip File ) with the password. After you unzip the compressed zip file, it becomes the complete ISO file needed to burn to DVD > Don't do anymore unzipping < !!!

If you downloaded the Free/Core don't do any unzipping of any files what so ever !!!

Hi,

did you burn the disks at the slowest speed possible, if you didn't, this could well be the reason why you are having the problems you mention because it creates read/write errors when you burn the disk at the fastest possible speed!!.

I can only recommend that you re-burn the disks at the slowest speed possible if you didn't already do so.

Did you try out the disk in live mode and did everything work??.

Have you also tried using a USB version of Zorin??.
