Hi, I am trying to install on my desktop. I am using zorin OS 7 Ultimate.
The specs are:
Nvidia gtx 580 1.5gb
intel i7 2600k @3.4Ghz
12GB Ram
1x 1.5 TB (used for windows)
1x 120 GB(windows boot up)
1x 120 GB(blank, where I want to install zorin 7 ultimate on)

I have tried the command -nomodeset on start but it does not help. It crashes every time at some point early on in the installer. This is quite frustrating considering I paid for this.

It seems that installing with graphics safe mode works fine. And the to boot up without it crashing after words one can whe prompted the grub menu use the 'recovery' method and chose the graphics safe option form there and then install the drivers.
