Maybe a better Installation Guide?

Hi,

I'm ok with Linux, but don't use it regularly. The problem is folks like me WANT to use Linux but can't remember all the details. May I suggest that the Official Installation Guide be rewritten to include all of the details. The one posted (that's locked) "[GLOBAL] Official Installation Guide" doesn't provide any of the detail needed in Step 6 to successfully complete an installation.

Just a kind suggestion for us struggling Linux wanna-users!
