[SOLVED] Help on install of zorin 8 with lvds on board

Hi,
I tried today to put zorin 8 on an old system. The live CD is on a usb made by YUMI, it boots OK. However, the problem is the board. This motherboard has an LVDS port and somehow the live CD choose the LVDS port as the primary display. So I cannot
start the install process. I searched the BIOS settings, there is no place to disable the LVDS port. Windows 7 and Lubuntu 1304 booted OK and ignored the LVDS.

Is there a way I can have Zorin Live CD ignore the LVDS, or at least use it as a secondary display?

Thanks

biny

Just found the solution, boot with kernel option
Video=LVDS-1:d

This tells the kernel to ignore LVDS port.
