I need a USB wireless network adapter that will work with Zorin OS8 on my dual-boot desktop. I bought a Netgear adapter but it only works on Windows. Does anyone have a suggestion.

We may be able to get the network adapter to work in linux as well.

Boot to ZOrin, plug the adapter, open terminal and post back the results of:

lsusb
sudo lshw -c network
sudo rfkill list all
lsmod

Are you looking for 4 different results? I have never used the terminal, sorry.

Yes. Terminal opens by pressing ctrl+alt+del.
You will write one by one the commands and you will press <enter> after each one.
You will copy/paste here the result from each command.
Some commands may ask from your password. You will write it normally even if you will not see it be typed, and you will press <enter> afterwords.
