No signal when trying to install from USB

I burned Zorin 8 to my 16gb USB stick but when I boot from it all I get is 'no signal, check video cable' on both my monitors.

I burned the .iso to my USB using Windows 7 USB / DVD Download Tool.

My laptop's specs are:
Windows 8.1 Pro (Originally came with W7)
4GB RAM
Intel Pentium CPU B940 @ 2.00GHz
64bit

Did I burn the .iso to my USB wrong?

EDIT: I used a program to check if my drive was bootable but I got back 'BOOTMGR not found' or something along those lines. How do I fix this?

did you check that the MD5 checksum of the D/Ld ISO is correct?
- is there an option to boot in safe mode?
usually, lower down, on the boot menu ..
- 2nd or 3rd item.

HI stecky, and welcome to the Zorin forum!

First off, you can't 'burn' to USB - you need to use a usb tool like 'unetbootin' or one of the other tools listed here:

http://www.winsite.com/boot/boot+magic+usb/index3.html

Then follow Pierre's advice about choosing the advanced option, press Tab to alter the boot parameters to be:

acpi=off, nomodeset.

It would also be useful for you to run Zorin live (once you have got a working USB bootloader) and take a screenshot of your partitions using GParted (Gnome Partition Editor) which you can find by entering 'gparted' in the search box of the Win7 look.

To take a screenshot, use the 'Screenshot' utility in 'Accessories' and post it back here - instructions on how to do this here:
