(SOLVED) No system time & date and other icons on taskbar

Hello,

I wanted to try Zorin OS8 before I install on my machine directly, so i have installed this on vmware first.
The installation was successful but after installation I cannot see system date, time and other icons like volume, network etc on taskbar at lower righthand side.

I tried to fiddle with various settings and still there was not any change.

I uninstalled twice and installed it again after downing again iso from Zorin but each time after installation I cannot see them on taskbar/panel at RHS.
Can any help please.
