Zorin on i-Mac with Parallels4 & XP

Message: I have i-Mac running Snow Leopard OSX.10 with Parallels 4 running XP.
Since the anti-Christ (Microsoft!) has now seen fit to discontinue support for their best OS ever . Can I replace XP with Zorin on my existing set up? Presumably if installing Zorin I would have to back up all my photos, music & docs etc.
Does Incredimail work with Zorin? If it is possible, where can I get a dummies guide to undertaking the change?

I am no Mac expert but I believe you need to 'rEFIt' before installing GNU/Linux:

As for incredimail I will give it a spin and see if it works under wine!

No it does not work - it installs but freezes! (and I downloaded the .exe from Softpedia as the remote shortcut that a lot of apps use on Windows these days did not work at all):
