How do i get zorin os 9 lite using windows 8. I hate windows 8 and want to replace it with linux, i have the disk ready i just dont know how to get it on windows 8. Every time i restart my computer using the disk it does nothing. Please help me. :?:

Hi, just for clarity, you definitely want to get rid of Windows 8? You never intend to sell the machine at some point in the future? If the answer is yes to both these questions, can you get into your BIOS and:

1. Change the boot order of your drives so that the optical (DVD drive) is the first item to boot.

2. Change your BIOS mode from 'EFI' to 'Legacy'

3. Save and EXIT - reboot with Zorin 9 Lite in optical drive. ;)

Hi I have windows 8 and install zorin 9, but I did it wrong ...
partitions but had not set well in the installation ...
not reboot the option of windows 8, zorin only of ...
there any way to fix the problem without reformatting everything again?
I want to have the two operating systems

I want to keep the two operating systems.
zorin works well.
windows is in hibernation.
only starts zorin 64 bit
not the option of windows 8 32 bits.
zorin kill windows.
it was my mistake :oops:
