Zorin 6lts
I want to add an SSD as the new boot drive.
How can I copy all my settings and tweaks to the new drive?
I have worked on it for years to make it the way I want it.

I did a normal install on the SSD.
I have tried booting to Pmagic and copying folders but it does not boot properly.
Which folders hold the user settings and add ons?

Thanks,
I did clone the system manually but the boot sequence looks for the id# if the old drive and boots using the files on the old device.
When I disconnected the old drive the boot said device not found and stalled the sequence.
I need to know which folders to clone to have the old system but keep the boot files which boot the new drive.

I now have a new system which boots on the new drive and the old system on the old drive.
I want to clone the old customized system onto the new drive.

Hi, having had to clone from one to the other, you will be only be able to do 'as is' - no proportional cloning as GNU/Linux allows you to shrink partitions - not expand them! (regardless of what distro it is).

My best clone tool (bearing in mind this was a straight SATA to SATA not SATA/PATA to SSD was to use Clone Copy 1.9.6 off of Hiren's Boot CD.
