Password invalid

[code][/code]Installed Zorin 9 without issues and used during the day. The next day I got "password invalid" message when I attempted to log in. Did an erase/clean installation again that day using a different password. The next day, the same problem presented when I could not log in due to "invalid password." Why would this be happening; what would be a suggested resolution. Frankly, as a Linux newbie, it raises concerns for me regarding trust and security.

at the login window, press the arrow keys and make sure that there is your normal username account showing, if you don't press the arrow keys, only the guest account shows and that is why you are getting the invalid password message!.
