v.9 Installation fails on video

Hey,
New to Zorin; I thought I'd install it on my Dell Latitude D820 which is a pretty stout machine. I have 1920x1200 resolution and that seems to throw the installation into the toilet. All goes well until it gets to the video. I left it up automatically trying overnight (it takes a while). The following morning it shows as failed. Do I need to use a lesser laptop? Most of mine are high definition.

It would help to know if it has the Intel GMA graphics or the nVidia Mobile Graphics chipset. In the meantime, try this when booting from live DVD:

1. Press the Tab key as soon as you see the option 'Try Zorin Live without installing' (first option) or 'E' key to edit the bootloader.

2. add the following

Code:: acpi=off nomodeset xforcevesa
