Uninstall Win apps before installing Zorin OS?

Is it advisable to uninstall Windows OS third party applications before installing a clean single boot of Zorin OS?

Hi Bob,

if you are going to format all the partitions and just use Zorin OS, then it doesn't matter at all!, if you are going to install Zorin OS alongside Windows, that doesn't matter either!. So the answer is no!.

Thanks Wolfman. I wasn't clear why I asked though. I guess the better question would have been...
"How do I wipe my HD clean? Reformat and then install the Zorin OS?"

Hi Bob,

take a look here:

That will keep you busy for a while!, you can just let the auto installer wipe the entire drive for you but I use 3 partitions myself!.

Thanks. I quickly fell behind in my reading once I installed the Zorin OS on my zombie computers and joined this forum. Now there just isn't enough time in a day to do all I want to.
