(SOLVED) ZORIN OS 9 CORE 64bit with AMD Radeon™ HD3000

Having trouble installing Zorin on ECS A960M-MV(1.0A) AM3+ AMD 760G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard (http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Produc ... 15&LanID=9) which has an AMD Radeon™ HD3000 graphics.

I'm using an AMD Athlon II X2 245 2.9GHz Socket AM3 Desktop Processor (http://products.amd.com/pages/DesktopCP ... spx?id=586)

I've done an installation before with an on-board NVIDIA pressing F6 and selecting nomodeset viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8004

That process is not working with this board.

Any help?

Hi,

go here and look for this section:

Changing the CD Boot Option Configuration Line

Change the resolution to something lower and/or activate "noapic":

Obiviously try other options should that fail!.
