Hi there,
I'm attempting to install Zorin 9 Lite on my old Toshiba netbook (which is still "running" XP). I'm technically apt, but have never done this before. I want to completely get rid of my Windows XP and just run Zorin on this netbook.
Netbook Specs:
Toshiba NB NB205
Intel (R) Atom(TM)
CPU N280 @ 1.66GHz
0.99 GB of RAM
Microsoft Windows XP 2002
I went through all these steps:
1. Downloaded 32-bit .iso (on my MacBook Air)
2. Downloaded Unetbootin (on my MacBook Air)
3. Used Unetbootin to create a bootable USB (on my MacBook Air)
4. Set up booting prefs in BIOS setup to boot from USB (on Toshiba netbook)
5. Received error message (black screen with some error text) upon reboot (on Toshiba netbook)
6. Reformatted USB drive FAT32 and used Unetbootin to recreate bootable USB (on my Macbook Air)
7. Tried to reboot again and received black screen with one blinking underscore (on Toshiba netbook)
I'm unsure where to go from here. Can anyone help?
