I have Zorin 9 that i paid for, is zorin 10 upgrade free ?

Hi, I would stick with Zorin 9 as 10 will 'expire' in January 2016 - the next LTS is likely to be Zorin 11 which should be based on the next Ubuntu LTS release due in April 2016 - Zorin 11 will likely be out over summer.
