[CLOSED] Zorin 10 install failure

When installing Zorin 10 at the point of creating a partition it locks up the system. I have tried it several times and every time it goes to create the partition on the main drive it keeps locking up the PC.

Suggestions to get around this issue.

How are you trying to install? USB or DVD? What is your current hard drive partitioned?

OK, so just to get this straight, is your intention to dual-boot? The 101 Mb unallocated - is this at the start of the hard drive? Can you boot into the Zorin Live environment, run GParted (just enter that last word in the Win 7 menu and it should come back as the only item in the menu and launch it) then take a screenshot using Menu | Accessories | Screenshot - you may need to increase the delay by 10 seconds before taking the shot of GParted of your Partitions:

e.g.,

It was the usb phone I had plugged in to use as a mic for skype that was causing the issue.

Zorin 10 is installed.
