Hello! I have a laptop R3-471 (Aspire R14). Installed ZORIN 9. I can not find a good solution to turn off the keyboard when using the notebook in tablet mode. Maybe those who have a good idea?
Sorry for bad english (this is not the native language).

Hi, the closest I could find was this:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/693060/a ... re-r13-ubu

There was a question here:

http://www.technolapo.com/forums/204511 ... tu%5D.html but it appears the site is dead!

Sorry! :(

I wrote a script to turn off, but it is a bad decision. It works, but you have to make unnecessary movements. In Widows 10 it works automatically, it indicates that the system understands the sensors in a laptop. I tried to find a solution, but could not.

Just remember that your hardware is built specifically in mind for Windows and not GNU/Linux - that is not the fault of GNU/Linux but proprietary hardware vendors not being prepared to offer GNU/Linux drivers etc. ;) :D
I would expect GNU/Linux to catch up at some point though - Ubuntu brought out touch screen packages some time before Windows if memory serves me correctly! :D
