NEWBIE : Zorin 10 Core and AMD Radeon HD 7310

Hi everyone,
I am totally new to Linux and want to try it out.
Have downloaded Zorin 10 Core 64bit and installed onto a USB as per install guide.

My laptop is a Lenovo N585
- AMD E1-1500 Processor
- Windows 8.1 64bit
- AMD Radeon HD 7310

Have tried running LIVE from the USB.
I get the prompt if I want to install onto the hardrive or run from the USB.
Next I get horizontal colored lines, and a black screen if try to press keys.
Do I need to install special video drivers or something ?
If anyone can point me to a post that helps instead of " re-inventing the wheel" that would be great...

Please be aware that Zorin 10 will no longer be supported at end of January this year - I would advise downloading Zorin 9 - if using USB stick then be sure to format to FAT32 before using!
