right of taskbar not work in vbox

hi. i have zorin OS new on virtualbox for windows just installed. the host pc has 12 GB RAM (a lot!) and the guest got 4GB. and the left part of the taskbar (i gues notification center) not work. :cry:

just all white. any solutions?

ok never mind, just delete my post. i installed vbox guest additions and it completely went away :lol:

it is a really neat operating system though, in time it will replace linux mint!

Sorry for missing you earlier - I would check graphics issue at boot time - was the desktop showing normally apart from the taskbar issue?

oh now i just got it on a real machine and it performs marvelously! my other quiestion now is whether or not it is possible to upgrade to ultimate without reinstalling. I dont want to reinstalll because it is already dual booting with windows 8.1
