Cannot pin program to AWN bar

I watched the video's on youtube, my Zorin 11 fresh install will NOT let me pin ANYTHINg to the taskbar

I have dragged thunderbird icon to the desktop, I have verified that its permissions have Allow Executing file as a program

I have tried re-logging in with all effects disabled.

I click the icon I drag to taskbar, even in between firfox and others and it will never, ever, drop a icon

I have tried with other icons.

This is a bug,

P.S. If someone has to ASK (and many have I see in google) how to drag and drop an icon, you have a real issue on your hands as a 'easy' OS to use...seriously.

Hi, the panel works differently to Windows - when you launch an app, its icon should appear on the panel - while the app is open and the icon is present on the panel, right-click the icon and 'pin as launcher'. ;) :D

Hi sometimes the pin does not work and when that happens, I simply reboot and then I pin again, and it works good luck ;)

You are welcome Swarfendor437. I am using Zorin Os 11 full time, it works great.
