Mouse Pointer Turning into Chip

I have Zorin loaded and I love it. For some reason, I could not get it to install on my laptop and had to install Linux Mint instead. I had some issue partitioning the drive and Zorin's installer would crash out. Anyway, I have Zorin running on my desktop with dual monitors running on a Radian 7970 card (Very high end card) and everything looks and works great except for the fact that the mouse pointer on the 1st monitor will change into the picture of a "computer chip" from a regular mouse pointer. When I move the mouse to the 2nd monitor, it looks like a normal pointer. When I move to the 1st monitor, back to a picture of a chip.

Anyway to fix this? It's hard to click on stuff when you are trying to click with a chip. I love Zorin and it has a very nice GUI and is very easy to use. I think Linux may finally be ready for the desktop.

Thanks,

Scott

I can't screenshot the pointer as it doesn't show. It turns from an arrow to the picture of a computer chip on the left main monitor and its extremely frustrating to click on anything.

OK, forgot about that - happens when taking a screenshot of a non-standard cursor - only shows the default one. Have you installed xrandr? Another thing to look at is to disable Compiz - by that I mean unchecking everything in Compiz Config Settings Centre/er. Here is what I found so far:
