http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lpdzPJYxCY4/T ... neiric.pngThis is close but not exactly. I've successfully pinned a Zorin Start Menu, and an Application Manager to the Cairo-Dock in the search for the one I"m looking for, but they are not the one I"m looking for. You know when you first install Zorin, and on the left is the AWN Main Launcher, assuming you make your interface look like Unix? And on that Launcher is teh Zorin Start Menu button, that when clicked, opens up a Full screen view of all the applications installed? Across the top are tabs with different categories as well as a big search bar, which will cause only applications matching the criteria typed in.
It basically looks like the fullscreen start menu of windows 8/8.1/10 in comparison to xp/vista/7. I'm looking to make my Start menu display as its fullscreen, unix counterpart.
Update: WHOO-HOO-HOO!!! I think I've found a fix, albeit not the one I expected. As a reference, you can look at one of my past threads. The bottom line is that here (you don't have to read it, I'll summarise)
http://zoringroup.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11585I asked for help because pcsx2 won't install on account of expecting older versions of dependencies that I have, so I borked my Operating system as displayed here: (summary below link)
http://zoringroup.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11503 by trying to force the installation of outdated dependencies in tandem to the current versions, which caused countless files to be removed in favor of older ones. I foolishly thought that the OS would allow multiple dependencies to exist alongside each other and they necessary ones would be used by their respective counterparts, and this has led to a slew of problems.
Long story short, my AWN Launcher and status bar went missing and I had no Zorin Launcher button to be able to access my applications directly. So, having Cairo-dock already installed, I was attempting to create a Main launcher with a the fullscreen Zorin Menu linked to it manually, which is no longer necesssary. Last week I had learned that the Look Changer was corrupted by that one mistake above, and some of hte Looks or Desktop Themes were missing, including Unity. BUT I used a command in terminal to have my Distro install all the most up-to-date applications of my Distribution image from the offical Zorin servers, can't remember the command, but it was something like "Sudo apt-get install --reinstall distrib...."
This command has fixed the Zorin Look Changer, restoring all of its Look Themes, and by telling it to make my Desktop look like Unity, has restored my Launcher along with the Fullscreen Zorin Menu. My Cairo-Dock's new Main Dock is no longer needed, so the greater problem is solved.
