[RESOLVED] Virtualbox Fullscreen issues

I've just installed VirtualBox in Zorin OS 9 and noticed that is acting strange when using it fullscreen/seamless mode.
According to site found on google, this happens because of a bug in Compiz in combination with AvantWM.

Did any of you experienced this bug, and fixed it? If so, could you help me?

Did you update Virtual Box to the latest version and update your system afterward then rebooted? ;) :D

I did. I used the virtualbox-5 packages from virtualbox.com

I'm running Zorin 9 Ultimate and using this version:

with corresponding add-on files.

Did indeed solve the problem. But still, I really wonder what was causing this issue.

Pure guess but suspect the kernel installed may not be compatible - this is a GNU/Linux kernel that is outside of the scope of any distribution to fix - but again, pure speculation on my part. Zorin always endeavors to create the most stable environment. ;) :D Will mark this thread as [RESOLVED].
