Terminal refuses to install pipelight no matter what

Following countless how-to's on the subject of adding silverlight alternative to the letter, including the one on the sticky thread in this forum, my every attempt to install pipelight is cock-blocked by my own computer. I can not get my computer to find any packages with the word pipelight in them at all, whatsoever.

Here's a copy of a quoted going's on I just did in my terminal. Its one of many sessions that have transpired. There are ppa's that are not official or working ppa's that return ign's and 404 errors. They are unrelated, provide nothing that I actually need anymore, adn I just haven't gotten around to removing them yet.

sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:mqchael/pipelight
[sudo] password for steven:
Pipelight allows one to run Silverlight inside a Linux browser using Wine.

I can't install pipelight no matter what because I've successfully added all the pipelight ppa's that exist on the Internet, and my terminal STILL says it can not find the package pipelight, pipelight-multi, pipelight/stable, or whatever. I physically went, in my browser, to qmicheals website, saw the list of the 6-7 uploaded piplight multi archives that I should have been able to download, and then ran hte command to download pipelight after adding his ppa, and saw my terminal say that the files I was directly looking at, and connected to in my browser, didn't exist. And I had no way to download them through the browser. Let me tell you, that is frustrating.

I can watch netflix no problem - and if you are trying to run in chrome/ium no longer supported.

I'm afraid that first thread is not going to be able to help me. On the first page of the thread, the 6th post says:

yep installed netflix.desktop and mono-complete and pipelight - i have been pasting commands in to terminal all day - but still no joy - bad play back in chrome and the netflix icon which appears in my sound and video menu stills does nothing when i click on it.

The OP started this thread having successfully installed pipelight, and is having issues getting it to work. My problem isn't that I can't get pipelight to work or what-have-you. I don't even have it installed. i cant install pipelight because no matter what ppa's I add to the system, my terminal says that the pipelight packages I try to have it install don't exist, and there's no way for me to download or install it.

My terminal can not find the packages for any pipelight distribution or archive, no matter how many ppa's I add to my system. It refuses to install pipelight.

OK, your first window of code has "ppal:" instead of "ppa:"

You're right it does, and then it shows that I noted the spelling error, and typed the PPA command correctly, and it was created. Then it shows me updating, and then end attempting to install pipelight, and pipelight not being found from any of the PPAs in my repository.

Well if I'm honest, I don't know if pipelight actually does get installed - I do however use Netflix in Zorin 9 Ultimate 32-bit without any issues - compared to Windows 10 - when I try to launch Netflix on dev release of Win 10 I just get a repeat of scrolling dots on the screen - in Zorin - Netflix launches practically instantly!
