Wrong screen resolution

I have a problem with my screen resolution. I have just installed Zorin OS9 Core on a virtual machine. Everything works fine except the resolution. I can only choose 640 x 840 (4:3). It´s really annoying. I don´t know how to change this. Can someone please help me?
PS: Sorry if my english is bad.

Virtual Machines are to some extent dependent upon a lot of memory, some of which has to be allocated to Video - this is all I can suggest at this point in time.
