AWN Applets stopped working

I just switched my graphics driver to the nvidea driver (as opposed to the nouveau driver), a thing that I have done before (I had to reinstall the os since then because I broke things), and once I rebooted, none of the applets on my taskbar work, except for AWN-Terminal. (they only let me restart them, which does nothing)

Try this (I see you are using Zorin 11) - open the terminal and enter:

Code:
gnome-system-monitor

Then select processes tab and right-click anything "awn" related, and select "kill process".

Whilst still in the terminal enter:

Code:
avant-window-navigator
to restart.

Which nVidia card do you have and which driver did you install?

I have a GTX 950 and I installed the tested proprietary driver.

Did you get your panel back?
