[SOLVED] Creating web-url to Desktop

Hello is it possible to create web-url link to desktop? Or any other folder?

I think it is 'blocked' by 'root' permissions? You could install 'rubrica' from Synaptic Package Manager? ;) :D

I tried to install ubuntu-tweak but it does not work with my zorin os 11 lite, it gets stuck. Or there is something wrong with my zorin installation.
But i remember ubuntu-tweak worked with some previous version of zorin (i'm not sure). If ubuntu-tweak should work there is handy option to create "launchers".

Go to chrome f.e and to the website you want a link to desktop,

press the menu, choose more tools -> add to desktop, voila

I would follow qnarkill's suggestion - this is why 'ubuntu-tweak' won't run in Zorin Lite:

All right that worked :) Now i don't have to open the Mediatomb from terminal (i don't remember the ip address for this machine)

But that scripts and launchers option at "right mouse click in a folder" would be still nice feature at future Zorin versions :)
