I have intel n2940 with intel hd graphics and an nvidia gt 920m gpu.

Thanks for the help.

Hi, I am confused as to how you have two different graphics - is this a desktop with an on-board intel graphics and a separate nVidia graphics card? If your desktop is running normally using the 'default' nouveau drivers I would not attempt to install any 'proprietary' drovers. whether intel or nVidia. ;) :D

Im sorry forgot to mention its an Asus laptop and software doesnt recognise my deticated gpu gt 920m so i cant play any games atm. I also cant change brightness levels. And it would be nice if i could get intel grapics drivers alongside nvidias because it works better then what i have atm the default driver. If anyone can help thank you ^^

It is Asus x751MJ

CPU: Intel celeron n2940 64-bit 1.83 GHz (boosts to 2.25 GHz but most of the time to 2.23)

GPU: Nvidia gt 920m 1gb

Memory: 4gb 800 MHz (or 900)

Storage: 1 TB 5400 rpm

resolution 1600x900 - 16:9 ratio

Screen: 17,3 inch (43.9 cm)

3000 mah battery

PS.
Its made for windows 8.1 and 10 64-bit but because of laging and poor gaming performance (10-20 fps in CS GO) im trying to find a fix for that.

OK, please visit this page for instructions:

http://www.noobslab.com/2014/12/use-nvi ... rs-in.html

You need the 352.30 drivers according to that article - see if using the terminal commands resolves your issues, including adding the 'edgers' PPA (repository) in order to get the drivers.

Keep us posted! ;) :D

I figured out how to use them through app "Additional Drivers" thats alredy loaded with OS and tested it on CS GO but the performance was worse than on windows 10 i got only about 5 fps.

Hi, go to here:

https://www.codeweavers.com/compatibili ... -offensive

You can get a 14-day free trial - at the end you decide if you want to pay for the full package. Codeweavers are directly behind the wine.hq project so any purchase helps fund the WINE devs (Wine Is No Emulation - because it uses windows .dlls!)

The Linux tutorial page is here: https://www.codeweavers.com/support/wik ... al/install ;) :D
