Cannot make a starter for Thunderbid

Hello Forum,

I'm new on this forum. I live in the Netherlands.

On a test pc runs " Zorin os 11".

I've installed " Thunderbird" via "Softwarecentre" but I don't see a starter on my desktopscreen.

Is this a problem in the software?

Hope to see some info in my pigeon-hole.

Wim

by default it would appear on your start menu. You can click the zorin logo on lower left and then click on "internet" then right-click thunderbird and select "make desktop shortcut" or something like that (not on zorin right now). then it will be on your desktop screen.

If you are wanting just the desktop shortcut then do as James tobin has advised. If you want to add it to the Panel at the bottom, just launch the application, (its icon will appear in the Panel) then right-click the icon and select 'Add as Launcher'. :D

@swarfendor437: he apparently wanted it on the desktop. On Windows when you install things they usually go on your desktop. Many Windows users do not even use the start menu. I know a few who don't.
