Hi

I am trying to use Intel linux graphic installer however keep receiving distribution not supported message.

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11771

I tried that however it did work, I have a GMA 3150 so I believe it should support OpenGl 2.0 but when I run glxinfo it advises OpenGl 1.4

any ideas?

Thanks

Hi, Intel support is not the best I'm afraid - at one point it was good but now it has decided to stop supporting Long Term Support distributions of GNU/Linux! Unfortunately I don't have any such kit - please wait for a forum member for some feedback/advice. Thanks. ;) :D

No problem, after some fiddling I was able to use intel-linux-graphics-installer_1.2.0-0intel1_i386.deb after amending the /etc/lsb-release to make it think I was running ubuntu.

But this did not fix the opengl error, but I installed driconf and was able to enable it.
