Setting an icon for a custom launcher

Sorry for so many questions. Using Zorin 11, 64-bit.

I use an app called Popcorn Time. You launch it from its own directory. I keep it in the Downloads directory. The app starts just fine when I add it as a custom launcher. But I can't set the application icon. The .ico files are in the same directory, but when I try to select one for the launcher, the .ico files are all grayed out. Is there some way I can access these icons? Thanks.

Hi, open a terminal and enter:

Code:
gksudo nautilus

You will need to enter your login password to elevate you to 'root'. Now navigate to where the icons for your app currently reside and copy to your '/home' folder. Next make a launcher and navigate to where the copied icon is to use that, you will need to enter the command line in the launcher's program parameters. ;) :D

Many thanks. I'll give it a go.
