Dear all,

How to change the default application for a particular file type, e.g *.txt?
-> the default application for opening *.txt file is gedit
-> how to change it to NotepadQQ?
[ I have installed NotepadQQ and seems that it is a better text editor, so I want to change it]

Thanks for any kind of help!

Hi, right-click the .txt file and select 'Properties'. Click on the 'Open with' tab, choose the app you want to open by default (in your case 'NotepadQQ' and remember to slect - 'Set as Default'. ;) :D
