Dear all,
As titled.
I hope that :
-> when the power switch is pressed once, a pop up window is shown with options to power off or restart
-> if the power switch is then pressed again, ZorinOS will be Shutdown and power off automatically.
Thanks for any kinds of help!

If you are looking for a script I don't know the first thing about this - the normal route is to select the power button symbol on the Win7 menu - this only gives the option to switch off - use the indicator 3 applet on the right to choose the 'personal' details icon to turn off to get option of switch off or restart.

HI,
I use Gnome Tweak Tool, search in synaptic package manager for it.
Hope this helps.

That is for a notebook - not a desktop like the OS has!

Thanks all for your great comment!
I have just installed the "Gnome Tweak Tool" from the software centre,
and set the power switch action to "shutdown"
Will let you know the result!

This is a desktop that I have taken the screen shot above from. This is so I can shutdown the PC by just pressing the power button on the front of the PC case without needing to see the screen if it is off for example.
One press of the power button will cause the machine to shutdown.
Zorin 9 had different options when I pressed the power button from memory so I installed/used the tweak tool on Zorin 11 to get the functionality that I wanted, not sure its what abctmp88 is after but may give suitable functions/options, I hope.

I'm always dubious about hitting the power button - unless it's an Amiga which was built to do just that - best OS period!
