[SOLVED] How can I show up the desktop with one click?

Dear all,

as titled.
-> Is it possible to create an icon in the bottom menu bar?
-> the desktop will be shown up when I click on that menu bar

Actually, this is the built-in features of Ubuntu-Mate Desktop.

Hi, check that there is not already an applet available already in applets. If not post back. Sent from my 1*3.

I finally find out the way to do so!

* Procedures:
# right click the "Zorin Menu" icon, which is located on the lower left hand corner
# click first menu item '''Dock Preferences''' -> "Applets"
# Look for '''Available Applets''' -> Drag '''Show Desktop''' to the right of Zorin Menu Icon
# That's it!

You can minimize all windows by Ctrl+super+d

OK, so far found something called TaskBar in Gnome Shell Extensions that does this:

but be careful as you cannot move the 'top panel' to the top - it shows up with smaller icons to the left of 'favourites' - you left click to show desktop and right-click to change settings:



Its the tiny desktop icon to the right of '1' on the left side of the panel. Reminiscent of DocBarX to some extend!
