Problem with VM ware

I am having problems installing Zorin 9 on VMWare 12 pro. It has been 3 hours installing from ISO

From recollection, 9 can take a long time to install on to a hard drive if you opt for the updates whilst installing - I seem to remember it took some time but not as long as 3 hours - it could be a VM Ware compatibility issue - have you tried Virtual Box?
