hibernation mode

If i put my laptop in hibernation mode will i have to start the download from the start? I'm downloading this game called Monsters and me and the file is 500MB which takes long so if i put my laptop into hibernation will i have to start my download form the begining again or will it just pause?

Hi,

I think that the term "Hibernation" speaks for itself, if you put your PC to sleep, it won't do anything, just switch off the monitor to save some power if you can. (if you have a tower PC) If you have a notebook, look at the energy settings to help save power!!.
