Lenovo - run Zorin 9 lite installed on non-bootable SD

Have installed Zorin 9 lite from live cd onto a non-bootable SD Card.

I wish to use a small USB stick (1GB) to boot the system, recognize the SD Card,
and pass the boot to Zorin installed on a 32GB (speed 10) SD Card.

I will be using Windows on my desktop (windows 7 64bit)
to create the bootable USB (sda1).

The Zorin 9 lite root ( / ) 20GB is located at (mmcblk0p1).
Swap (2GB) is located at (mmcblk0p2).

After booting Zorin I wish to remove the USB stick.

The Laptop (Lenovo 3000 C200 - 2GB RAM) will not boot from the SD Card.
The HD controller is bad , so NO Hard Drive.

What small tool is best to use for booting the system and chain loading the SD Card?
Plop Boot Manager? Grub? other?
Looking for something quick & easy to understand for a newbie working in windows.
I require "detailed" instructions on creating the USB boot and
how to pass the boot to the SD Card once recognized.

No point in reinventing the wheel:

(as I am sure you are aware, Zorin is a fork of Ubuntu, hence the Ubuntu link.)

Thanks for the link but... been there, done that.
Truly that page is poorly written and incomprehensible.

I've tried searching the net and find only info that is "Greek" to me.

In my post I asked for simple easy tools to get the job done.
I'm a newbie here and need my hand held.

OK, I did a quick search as I have never done what you are asking! ;) :D

I will scour some more! :D

Hi Try this guide - it looks simple (to me anyways!)
