Complete remove Totem from Zorin 11

Hi, I'm trying to remove Totem from Zorin 11 but I am failing for some reason... I first ran the normal: sudo apt-get remove *totem as well as the purge and autoremove options. I did initially indicated that totem was uninstalled but it's still there and it's still opening videos. This is for a call centre so I don't want any video/music player.

Hi, Have you tried using Synaptic Package Manager instead of the Terminal? Open Synaptic Package Manager - Just type Synaptic in the search bar of the menu in Zorin 11. Now in the search filter, a small box near the middle and to the top enter 'totem' without the single quote marks. Right-click each package that comes back, and from the context menu select 'mark for complete removal' then select 'Apply' from the top menu. I am writing this reply in Zorin 11 and on perusal, Totem is not normally included by default!
