[Solved] Zorin 12: Delete print jobs from queue

I have several print jobs I can't seem to delete from print queue (system tools -> settings -> printers -> show jobs) ..ie holdup all other jobs.

The >, II and stop buttons underneath are either non-focused or ..as in the case of the stop button..not effective (if in fact this is its purpose).

Is there another place I'm supposed to go to to delete print jobs from the print queue?

[ SOLVED] by deleting all print jobs from queue via command-line.. see http://alvinalexander.com/unix/edu/exam ... ncel.shtml

There might be a glitch with the print app that needs to be solved by Zorin. Until then, you can use terminal commands to cancel the print job. Hold down CTRL ALT and hit the T key, then enter the following commands found on this site based on your printer's name in the terminal.

Ok..excellent thanks. Ive been 'racking my brains' all day to try to solve this one! I managed to restore to one of my previous Zorin 12 image installations via Redo clearing out the print queue then the resubmitted job printed ok. So until the 'Delete print jobs from queue' bug is fixed .. ensuring one job goes on the queue at a time seem to work. But I'll keep note of your terminal commands too. Very handy..thanks.
