Has anyone had a problem with Firefox with this new OS?
I can install it ok but it doesn't do anything. It opens alright, but it does not search, nor are any of the quick links to things like "preferences" working. It just sits there daring you to do something.
I'm not a fan of Chromium so Firefox would be much better, but...

I don't have any problems with any other Linux package and Firefox, just this edition.

Any help would be much appreciated...

I had the same problem, and couldn't find a fix.
I installed "Duck Duck Go" as a search engine, and had Firefox open with it, instead of their own Firefox page. Now when I start Firefox I get the Duck Duck Go search page, and it works.
