Hi,

i'm trying Zorin OS 12 as an alternative to Windows, it'll be installed on some public access computers so i need a guest
account, is it posible to enable this account? I can't find where to do so. Some help needed...

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Zorin 12 automatically has guest account included - when you see your logon, just use your cursor (arrow keys) down key to bring it up - but I am guessing you are after just having the guest account active? ;) :D

No, it doesn't matter if there are more accounts, just need to have an account with a clean profile on every reboot (the usual guest account).

I've tried with the down arrow key with no luck, if i press it on the logon screen it moves the focus to the next account until it reaches "User not
in the list" (or something like that), nothing more, if i enter in "User not in the list" it prompts for an account login name but "guest" is not recognized :?

Thanks for your time

Oops! My bad! Forgot this is full gnome now and also based on 16.04 - I think my memory was thinking of earlier versions of Zorin, right up until Zorin 11! Back in a while after some delving! ;) :D

There are two pages I have found, primarily concerned with disabling Guest - enabling is the reverse and is explained in both articles:

http://quehow.com/how-you-can-disable-a ... /3571.html

and

;) :D
