Hello,
I am brand new to Linux and just installed Zorin OS 12 Core over Windows 10. The installation went smooth and everything was running fine. I went into the Updates manager? and attempted to install 6 available updates. An animated circle was spinning for a while and then stopped. I assumed it froze so I closed the window and rebooted via the Windows Start like menu. The boot up process comes to the flashing Zorin logo and then goes to a black screen that reads "Zorin OS 12 'computer-name' tty1" and underneath that it reads "computer-name username:" From there I enter the username and am then prompted to enter a password. I enter the password I created during the User details portion of the OS installation and it says "login incorrect". I've also tried entering "root" as the username, to no avail.

I am unsre what to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
