Cannot change update settings

Hello,

I am on a freshly installed 12 Core. I opened the update settings (System Tools -> Software Updater ->Settings). Under Updates there are three check-boxes that are unchecked. After clicking one, I had to enter my password, but the boxes remain unchecked. Why is that and what can I do to fix this?

Thanks.

I suspect this is part of a bug that has happened before but do not worry, security updates do get pulled down - the bug has been reported elsewhere including ubuntu forums if memory serves me correctly. One thing I would change is on the first tab and that is to make it point to the Main Server instead of the server based in your locale/country. ;) :D

Thanks for the reply. So I guess, this is not a Zorin specific bug, but Ubuntu in general. I have followed your advice regarding the change for the server. Thanks so far :)
