Dear all,

I have installed and using ZorinOS12 and Filezilla 3.15.0.2-1ubuntu1
-> I find that this version of Filezilla CANNOT upload files from my local computer to the remote ftp server
-> so how to upgrade Filezilla to its latest version?

Have you checked firewall rules?

without touching any firewall setting, FileZilla3.23.2.0 can work normally.

I have installed Filezilla3.23.2.0
but Filezilla3.15.0.2 co-exist with this updated version
-> so are there some way to remove Filezilla3.15.0.2 ONLY?

Thanks for any kinds of help!

if you can try to look at properties of the application via Nautilus - browse to usr | share | Appllications - do a long hold right-click to prevent launching and select properties of the earlier version then open a terminal and enter:

Code:
audo apt-get remove filezilla - whatever comes next
