[SOLVED]Login-screen background

Hello all,

So, this is the last bit in my quest for making Zorin truly mine. Now, I love Zorin. I really do. I just... really don't care much for the default look.

I've managed to change the bootsplash background and everything else I need, now I just really need to find where the background for the login screen is located. I've tried everything possible, and just can't seem to find it. Anyone know? All I really need is to know where the background is located, I can handle the rest :)

Oh, should be mentioned I'm on Zorin 12 Core with no additional "bigger" packages installed.

Much appreciated if someone can point me in the right direction!

Having just done a 'duckduckgo' search I found this:

Yeah I found that too, but unfortunately it didn't help. It appears things have changed a bit, BUT, I was in fact able to solve this. Over at Archlinux.org they have a solution to this.

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=197036

I myself used the "shortcut", aka the little application WebReflection there has written for his own Arch-distro,

It should be noted though that while I did that, I don't specifically encourage anyone to do that, as you will have to curl a small application from an untrusted source! So, beware! However, the thread and nowadays also their Wiki describe the long (and quite involved) way of doing this too.

Anyway, this can be marked solved! :D

Thanks for the feedback - and warning! Have you also checked out if there are any gnome extensions for this? :D

I did check for Gnome-extensions, without luck. :(

Try this:

https://help.gnome.org/admin/system-adm ... nd.html.en

You may have to install dconf editor by opening terminal in utilities section of main menu by entering:

Code:
sudo apt install dconf-tools
