I know there are different ways to do this, but I am confused by the fact that I have not one but several Wine programs on Zorin Ultimate: Configure Wine, Winetricks, etc. I downloaded the latest Wine version, 2.0-rc5, but am unsure how to proceed at this point.

Just be aware that when Zorin puts a distro together they usually ensure that the wine installed is not going to crash with the kernel installed - I would head over to
https://www.winehq.org and post a question on the forum stating the kernel version (NOT THE DISTRIBUTION!) and what version of wine will happily run on it without causing isssues.
