I am having an issue trying to figure out how to change resolution in guvcview, using a command line, since everytime i try to open it, i get an error about invalid resolution index, and then it crashes, so i cant change it any other way that i have so far found in 2 weeks of looking. Here is what i get when i try any commands, and i have no idea what it means:

$ guvcview -x
guvcview: option requires an argument -- 'x'
Guvcview version 2.0.2

so what am i doing wrong here?
