"SOLVED" Desktop shortcut Creation

I was working on my recent re-installation of Zorin 12 Ultimate, to which I had already applied updates.

I received and applied another substantial update and - Hey Presto - the right click from Zorin Menu "Create a Desktop Shortcut" feature of Zorin 9 to 11 was back!

Well done the development team! - they did say that they were working on this and here it is.

This is good news indeed. A lot of grief came from not being able to perform this most basic of tasks.
Nice to know that the devs are listening and responding. Thanks for sharing.

but...
when will this happen on ZorinOS12(Core-64)?

in the ZorinOS12 software centre, search for "tweak-tools", install it
-> then you can use your mouse to right click on a program which can be searched in the zorin start menu (i.e. the one on the lower left hand corner)
-> select "add to desktop"
-> that's it!
