hello everybody,
I have troubles to connect my iPhone 5s to my Laptop computer running Zorin.
From some Ubuntu-help-pages I figured it could be a good idea to use libimobildevice, but the package is not found, when I use the way it is explained there.
Can anybody help? Maybe even with another idea?
By the way: the IPhone can be mounted, but I cant find any data on it. It appears as a camera with no pictures on it.
Thank you in advance,
RasmusA

Have you installed Synaptic Package Manager? Open a terminal and enter:
- Code:
sudo apt-get install synaptic

Thanks again.
Though I didn't find it in the terminal, synaptic tells me I have libimobiledevice already installed.
Still, the problem remains, I can't acces the iPhone. It just appears as a camera without pictures.
Any more ideas?
Thanks in advance!

i suspect as well it might be to do with what version of iOS is on the phone - the more up-to--date it is the harder it will be to link. Zorin 11 could see everything on an iPad at work that really impressed me - needless to say ages since any updates applied to the iPads - can't stand them myself!

Is there a phone, which is working better than others with Zorin?

Well my One+ 3 phone is seen.
(and a lot cheaper than an iPhone!
